Sparkling Champagne Pearl finish
December, 1963; 2pc set; 8x12"
Tom & 14x20" bass drum. Three ply drum shells w/Maple
interior veneer, strong date stamp in each drum. Replacement
bass drum spurs and thumb screws. Incomplete 'rail consolett
tom holder (missing face plate attachment). Ludwig tom mount
placed over original Slingerland 'diamond' plate. The 8x12"
has original chrome/brass "Stick Saver" rims.
NOTE; one small extra hole
@top center of bass drum next to the badge. A former owner moved
the Rail Tom Holder towards the center of the bass drum to get
more height for the tom tom. The finish on this drum set has
little to no fade. These photos were all taken at different times
in different locations. Thus, the difference in appearance of
the Champagne Sparkle finish. However, in actuality, ALL of the
finish on both drums is evenly consistent and vibrant.
